Job Description

At Sprinque, we are building the checkout infrastructure for frictionless B2B payments. Through a single, seamless integration with Sprinque’s B2B checkout platform, marketplaces and merchants can easily offer business buyers the payment terms they need. This will increase order values and order conversion rates for marketplaces and merchants, which further benefit from automated payments workflows and invoice financing.

Sprinque was founded at the beginning of 2021 in Amsterdam by Manoj Tutika (CTO), Mark Holleman (CPO), and Juan Espinosa (CEO). This international founding team brings together an exciting mix of technical, domain and commercial expertise. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. You will work closely together with the commercial, founders, marketing, product and engineering teams to shape the future of the Sprinque B2B checkout platform. Location: We are building our first talent hub in the free-spirited city of Amsterdam and will expand to other locations in Europe over time. If you are not currently based in Amsterdam or The Netherlands, we would still love to hear from you, as we are a remote-friendly company, with a flexible working policy that accommodates onsite and remote teams alike. Remote team members may need to travel to Amsterdam from time-to-time to engage face-to-face with the rest of the Sprinque team.

Requirements

You are a native Dutch speaker and are fluent in English. You have full professional proficiency in both languages and are able to engage in complex technical conversations without any trouble

You have a proven passion for eCommerce, payments technology, and software sales. You couple that with determination, grit, and the hustle it takes to succeed in a sales development role.

You are confident and your communication skills are A+. You'll need it to initiate phone conversations with C-Level, VPs, Directors, Founders, Heads of amp; Managers, navigate questions, and overcome objections.

Curiosity drives you. You are a quick learner and will be able to understand and articulate Sprinque technologies and our value proposition to prospects within a couple of weeks of joining (Yes, this is a challenge)

You consider your multi-tasking capabilities a superpower. You’ll naturally thrive in a busy, challenging role where you can take ownership of your success and contribute to a driven team.

You're hungry. You have the drive and self-awareness required to continuously learn and improve your sales skills

Things You Might Do

Sprinque is a small, fast-growing, and remote-friendly company, so you'll likely get experience on many different projects across the organization. That said, here are some things you'll probably do:

  • Identify, create and build new and qualified sales opportunities from outbound activities
  • Build collaborative relationships with the rest of the Sprinque team and constantly collaborate and strive to win for our business
  • Develop strong product knowledge and be ready to learn from your colleagues
  • Make both cold and warm prospect calls, using targeted questions and your rapport building skills to understand the client's business strategy and how we at Sprinque can contribute to their success.
  • Engage and follow up with your prospects to build trusted relationships by providing insights tailored to their specific needs and interests
