Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist you will play a crucial role in the optimization process of high-traffic volume websites and photo editor applications. You will utilize your knowledge of statistics, experimental design, and analysis techniques to improve user experience and drive commercial benefits. You will be part of the global Product Analytics team and work directly with a variety of stakeholders from the product domain.

• Build data tools to automate analyses
• Develop methodologies for more efficient A/B testing
• Develop models for estimating potential commercial value from optimization activities
• Perform advanced analyses
• Bring analytical models / tools into production by collaborating with the engineers, co-create solution architectures
• Spread best practices related to analysis and experimental design with the team and stakeholders

• Building tooling and methodology for identification of product optimization opportunities

• Building tooling for automated A/B test analyses
• Creating methodology for non-inferiority testing

• Master’s degree in data science, statistics, econometrics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
• A solid foundation of statistics and predictive modeling
• Proven experience with statistical analysis, experimental design, data visualization, and machine learning
• Well-versed in Python, R and SQL
• Knowledge of Looker / Shiny Apps, HEX or similar
• Collaborative code development experience, including version control, code review and sharing

We offer a hybrid working environment and this role is based out of our Amsterdam office, located in the centre of city next to Central Station with stunning views of the harbour, and the numerous canals running through the old city.
