We are looking for a Game Developer to join our team in the heart of Amsterdam. You’ll work with a multinational team of talented individuals to deliver high quality amp; accessible casual gaming experiences.
CoolGames is a leading HTML5 game development company located in the centre of Amsterdam. We started 10 years ago as a pioneer in developing games in HTML5. Now companies such as Facebook, Snapchat, Google and Zynga ask to work with us, bringing IPs such as Angry Birds, Monopoly and Battleship to Social platforms.

Requirements
The right candidate meets most of the following requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience programming professionally;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices;
- Experience with version control tools (git is a plus);
- Solid knowledge of development best practices;
- A passion for creating great games;
- Expertise in a programming language, Typescript and JavaScript is a plus;
- Experience in game development is a plus.
If this is you, then we’d love for you to become part of our game development team. You’ll be working closely together with designers, artists, and in-house quality assurance to deliver games that delight and engage players around the world. This includes developing new titles and evolving existing games, as well as contributing to the maintenance and development of internal tools that help make those processes more efficient for the team.
You manage your own schedule, delivering robust code and meeting established deadlines. The responsibilities include development of new features amp; games, debugging, performing code reviews, porting between platforms and ensuring games remain stable and performant. You will work closely with the colleagues in your team and you’re encouraged to share your input and take part in the game’s development.
