Specific Working Conditions: Office environment at JFCBS, Castlegate and other location under GAoR
Duties and Role:
- Conduct data forensic acquisitions, analysis and examinations of Information Technology equipment such as Computers, Removable Storage Media or electronically transferred data.
- Ensure continuity of all evidence and maintain them through integrity in order to preserve the exhibits gathered during the investigation processes.
- Record the details of the investigation including analysis and reporting while maintaining the confidentiality of the collected information.
- Liaise with NATO Cyber Security Centre and other NATO bodies, National Security Agencies when requested.
- Report or escalate findings and issues, as appropriate, to the Section Head.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Degree in Computer Forensic or Information Technology Security, ISC2 and/or GIAC Certification are preferred
- Knowledge of Computer Forensic Data Acquisition, Malware Analysis, Software Reverse Engineering, Understanding of Chain of Custody principles.
- Familiar with Digital Storage Devices either fixed or removable, Computer Operating Systems including Windows and Linux, Ethical Issues regarding data protection.
