Duties and Role:
Under the direction of the Head of Portfolio Management Branch, and as a member of a cross-function Product Team, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:
Develop information required for management decision and operations support, including reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objective Key Results (OKRs) related to the following topics (not exhaustive):
- Financial performance
- Business performance (portfolio, contracts, services, projects)
- Sourcing (work force, outsourcing)
- Expenditures
- Course performance
- Customer demand fulfilment.
Develop tools for monitoring and reporting the information on a regular basis, including dashboards and trend analyses.
- Data sources are owned across the Academy and the wider Agency.
- Applications available are Agency implementations of ServiceNow, Oracle e-business suite, the Academy Training Management System, Power-BI, Access and Excel.
Support development of a framework and tools to manage Academy business as products.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Strong analytical, business analysis and reporting skills
- Expert in Power BI and Excel
- Expert in data visualisation
- Understanding of managing financial budgets
- Experience in working in cross-functional product teams and breaking through silos
- Experience with principles of human centered design and design thinking in their daily working
- Experience with monitoring success measures, KPIs, and OKRs
Desirable Experience and Education:
- Prior experience of working in an international environment
- Experience with AGILE ways of working
- Experience in product management
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
