What are you going to do?
Support Nieuwegein FC in becoming globally the site with the highest inventory accuracy, the highest productivity and process adherence. You will work with departments like Finance for weekly and monthly reports for stock-take and with Quality and Safety to proactively identify and solve issues. Your key challenges will be:
- Continuously contribute to improving inventory processes and stock level accuracies
- Support the Inventory amp; Operations teams within the fulfilment centre in the execution of picking/counting/sorting to achieve and maintain optimum inventory stock accuracy levels.
- Ensure proper storage of the products in inventory to avoid infestation and wastage. Following the FIFO rules.
- Ensure regular communication with other departments in terms of reporting issues, replenishments and discrepancies in the stock levels.
- Ensure adherence to legislative amp; company safety policies and processes.
- Own and improve processes and train warehouse associates.
Your core tasking will be:
- Aid in the development and implementation of inventory tools and processes.
- Ensure all FSQA requirements are met and maintained by all team members.
- Flag to the FSQA team when defective products are discovered and so it can be raised with the purchasing team.
- Establish trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality service and cost-effective management of stock, systems and process.
- Assist team with counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy. Generate Picking sheets
- Be the lead in the management of site Emballage account, reporting and processes.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand and assisting MSR planning process
- Assist Production Manager and Finance to manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis.
- Actively work with and provide support to the team's daily tasking.
- Attend production meetings, as required.
Requirements
- Advanced computer skills (Google Sheets, Microsoft office, ERP, Navision).
- Diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Critical and lateral thinking, with the ability to create solutions to common issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Organisation and ability to adapt to ever changing circumstances.
- Intermediate mathematical skills.
- Ability to work as part of a small but collaborative team.
- High emotional intelligence to relate to individuals at all levels.
- Data driven and good analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
