About the team

You will be part of our talented Marketing Team, a team consisting of 30 highly motivated and eager marketeers, video producers and designers who are together responsible for engaging and growing our consumer base by turning sport fans into active bidders.

About you

As the Digital Marketing Manager you are responsible for the development and execution of our digital marketing campaigns. You take the lead in translating our consumer demands into actionable marketing campaigns, and you always do this with the consumer in mind. You use all the skills in your toolbox to acquire new consumers, re-activate our existing consumer base and to improve our conversation rates. You are the driving force behind making sure our customers come back to us and optimizing our consumer lifetime value.

This role requires a well-rounded marketer with expertise in digital marketing, always looking for opportunities to improve the digital strategy and eager to raise the bar.

Your role and responsibilities include:

  • Own the digital marketing strategy digital go-to-market plan with a key focus on acquisition and retention.
  • Manage our digital campaigns, optimizing our digital channels including seo, google ads, meta as well as Matchwornshirt’s and our partners’ digital channels.
  • Generate new leads and nurture existing accounts
  • Analyze all aspects of the conversion funnel and identify optimizations to maximize conversion and marketing ROI
  • Define key performance metrics for our campaigns and track these.
  • Actively seek out new and different ways to reach the target audience and keep up to date on modern marketing trends.
  • Work closely with our creatives on content development and with our technology team on data and analytics.
  • Lead a digital marketing team of 5 people including an email marketeer and a social media executive.
  • Challenge different stakeholders to discover new ways to increase performance in acquisition, retention and conversion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics or relevant.
  • Digital marketing experience in a B2C environment of 4+ years.
  • Experience with SEO, CRM, Google search, Google analytics, and tools such as Segment, Brace, and other tools across digital marketing.
  • Experience with email marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, social network advertising and content distribution.
  • You have work experience in understanding performance data, creating actionable insights, and translating this to actionable projects.
  • A proactive collaborator with a solution-oriented, structured, process led, and analytical and growth mindset.
  • Experience managing a budget and maximizing marketing ROI
  • Good project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Great team-player who is innovative, agile, positive and can work under pressure.
  • You are creative and convincing and you like taking initiative
