The IT department has a vacancy in its Rijswijk office, for the following position:
IT Operations Manager
The Position
The purpose of this role is to ensure the, corporate controlled, Centrient IT infrastructure runs smoothly, reliable and in compliant way globally. Position holder also influence and participates in corporate IT projects. Responsible for IT services that are utilized by Centrient users globally. Position holder reports to Centrient Head of IT Infrastructure.
The main activities and responsibilities
- Responsible for smooth, uninterrupted and compliant operation of Centrient IT Infrastructure.
- Manages the NL IT Support team (3 direct reports, externally hired).
- Responsible for service of delivering first and second line end user support according agreed KPIs.
- Responsible for managing appropriate contracts with IT suppliers and software vendors in NL with support of Centrient Head of IT Infrastructure.
- Responsible for IT asset procurement, IT asset management and applicable license management.
- Manages ICT budget of IT NL with support of Centrient Head of IT Infrastructure.
- Keep close contact with Global IT amp; site management, ensure effective amp; efficient communication among relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of IT projects as per plan presented by Centrient Head of IT Infrastructure.
- Responsible for providing IT knowledge training amp; end user support.
- Support for Security initiatives.
- IT Services are delivered based on agreed SLA.
- Defining IT Service Delivery Framework, closely working with Head IT Infrastructure and having same implemented in Service Delivery tool.
- Comply with Centrient SHE amp; Quality requirements.
- Delivering best possible end user support for all Centrient systems within portfolio. Responsibility shared with entire IT team.
- Take responsibility amp; ownership for outcomes.
- Care for colleagues amp; support team members to grow.
- Be inclusive; encourage and incorporate diverse points of view.
- Train and coach team members.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- College degree or above.
- Preferably graduate from computer or software related majors.
- Team collaboration.
- Ability to analyze amp; resolve issues.
- Proficient in English writing amp; speaking.
- Decision maker
- Developing SOP’s
