Job Description
We’re currently looking for a creative, highly motivated Events Manager to join our marketing, communications, and events team. This is a full-time position in Amsterdam with remote working flexibility. In this role, you will lead global events for GRESB and play a central role in the company’s marketing team, helping drive awareness of and interest in GRESB’s benchmark and products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and colleagues based in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas as well as our network of Partners and Members.
What you will do:
- Oversee all GRESB-related events, including GRESB Results Events, co-branded thematic events and webinars, partner events, and industry events involving GRESB
- Project manage GRESB-created and co-hosted events and webinars, ensuring all material is created by its subject owner and deployed on time, this includes program development, arranging speakers, finalizing presentations with speakers, creating marketing and communication content, arranging location and audio/visual logistics, and doing event follow-up
- Manage the global events calendar, spot external events for company participation, and collaborate with Member Relations on partner events, empowering colleagues to own their contributions to external events, providing support when needed
- Manage the GRESB Results Event production timeline, ensuring all content, communication, recordings, and tools are ready
- Manage event tools and technologies, and recommend improvements as needed
- In addition to the above, you will help coordinate digital marketing channels, working closely with colleagues on content, and support in other projects across the team, depending resource needs and your personal interest
Requirements
- Relevant experience, ideally in event management or event marketing, ideally at least three years
- Demonstrated experience managing event marketing efforts, including webinars, ideally using tools such as Socialive and Swoogo
- Experience partnering, negotiating and collaborating with external organizations
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and email marketing strategies
- Strong communication skills and fluency or near fluency in English is required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of or experience in ESG
Preferred qualifications and skills:
- Experience in and knowledge of financial markets, asset management or institutional investing
- Experience in video production for online events
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress; customer relationship management systems like Salesforce; and email / project management software
- Ideally, candidates have the right to work in the Netherlands; sponsorship may be possible and up for discussion
