Intern, Communications and ESG
The Position
Six months internship in the global communications and ESG function.
The main activities and responsibilities
Support internal and external communications events planning, project plans, copy editing, story writing, meetings, videos.
ESG: internal research and awareness, data planning for external reporting, ratings and indices.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a curious and energetic intern who is keen to learn about communications and ESG at an international pharmaceutical company. We are interested in candidates with a curious and can-do attitude who are eager to gain on-the-job experience by working across numerous projects which will enhance their understanding of both communications and sustainability. Ideally, you’ll be studying communications, sustainability or liberal arts, be a native or near-native English speaker, with a global mindset as you’ll be working with colleagues across different countries. For communications, you’ll support the teams in internal and external communications, perhaps helping at events, putting together project plans, organising meetings, compiling media coverage or doing research. If you’re good at writing, maybe you’ll write some stories or edit copy. For ESG, you’ll gain experience in understanding how a global company needs to comply with new regulations and you’ll need to provide hands-on help in organising internal data gathering and validation and supporting global community action events. WE are a fun and energetic team. We need someone who is willing to do the more junior tasks while using the opportunity to learn and ask questions.
Terms and reward
We offer an internship contract for six months in a challenging, comprehensive and operational environment, with many opportunities for personal input and plenty of discussions with other professionals. The organization is very flat. You have a lot of freedom and responsibility in an open, direct and informal atmosphere. The role is based in Rijswijk and we operate in a hybrid working model. We offer an internship fee. Preference is fulltime, 4 days a week can be discussed.
We aim for a start of the internship at shortest notice.
