This is a 6 month placement for university students who want experience in Commercial Wholesale.
With sport playing an increasingly important role in more and more peoples’ lives, both on and off the field of play, we operate in a highly attractive industry. Based on our deep understanding of our consumer and the authenticity of our brand, we push the boundaries of products, experiences, and services.
The Commercial Wholesale Europe team defines the strategy, processes, and commercial initiatives for Europe Wholesale (WHS) in order to have one aligned and harmonised approach across all Clusters. The department consists of Digital Partner Commerce (online business of our WHS accounts) Customer Service, Sales Strategy amp; Development and Sport/Fashion Channel Management. We’re working very closely not only with all Cluster Wholesale teams but also x-functional with stakeholders from Business development, BUs, Finance, etc.
YOUR TASKS:
- Commercial WHS initiatives execution
- Channel management guidelines for Sport / Lifestyle (segmentation, distribution)
- Support Pan-European expansion of top sport/lifestyle accounts
- Support channel management teams for all sport/lifestyle-related topics
- Support seasonal segmentation/volume guidance processes
- Work closely with EU BUs and account teams
- Support EU sell-out projects amp; AKA trading model
Requirements
- Student of business administration, sport management or international Business or similar
- Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
- Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
- Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
- Fluency in English amp; German is essential
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication amp; analytical skills
