Global Retail Internship at Leading Sports Fashion Brand

This is a 6 month placement for university students who want experience in Global Retail.

Based on our deep understanding of our consumer and the authenticity of our brand, we push the boundaries of products, experiences, and services.

The Global Retail Head Office team is responsible for driving strategic cross-functional projects to support adidas Global Retail organization’s strategy and principles. The team creates and leads the backbone for all communications, processes, and tools to steer the SLT Sales agenda. You will work in a fast-paced, international, and highly strategic environment with many development opportunities.

YOUR TASKS:

• Contribute to the execution of the adidas Global Retail strategy and principles by managing key initiatives, cross-functional projects; and be an active team member in cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the development of new strategic business opportunities
• Implement a standard project management approach and effective communication methodology
• Develop and implement procedures for tracking progress of all ongoing projects on global and local level
• Support Director Head Office Global Retail in building storylines for the Executive Board and markets

Requirements

• Student of sales, marketing, finance or similar
• Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
• Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
• Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
• Understanding of strategic project management or similar topics
• Experience and/or interest related in consulting a plus
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing business processes and business partners
• Structured, organised and process orientated, with an analytical mindset
• High resilience and solution-oriented attitude
• Team player who enjoys working in an international environment
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong MS Office skills
• Fluent in English both verbally and written
