What is the project about?
Our company uses IBM App Connect Enterprise as an Enterprise Service Bus. The ESB plays a crucial role in integrating various business systems and streamlining data and message flows. The administrator ensures that the ESB environment runs smoothly and that any issues are promptly resolved. The Integration team is looking for an administrator with recent knowledge and experience in managing ESB environments, preferably IBM ACE ESB.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the availability of the service and being responsible for optimal monitoring and maintenance
- Keeping the operational team documentation up-to-date
- Closely collaborating with developers and testers
Job requirements
- Recent experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 (/2022)
- Recent experience in managing integration environments
- Solid knowledge and experience with ITIL (change, incident, problem, and capacity management)
- Familiarity with various integration protocols, such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, JMS, MQ, etc.
- Experience with IBM products
- DevOps practitioner, with a clear preference/experience in the operational role
- Possesses solid analytical thinking skills
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps processes
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of Git
- Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, CI/CD)
- Based in the Netherlands (or at least in the NL time zone +/- 1 hour)
- Dutch-speaking or at least fluent in English
Some other technologies you might work with / Nice to have:
- Experience with IBM ACE (v12)
- Dutch-speaking
- Knowledge of XML and JSON
