Location: The Hague, NL; Location can be flexible for the right candidate (Hague or Brussels)

Duties and Role:

The DWC Project Coordinator roles and responsibilities;

  • Support a number of on-going DWC projects, take ownership and lead some small projects;
  • Lead the Communications for all Diversity, Wellbeing and Culture initiatives including the development all internal and external communications materials
  • Lead the creation and distribution of all DWC communications campaigns and collaborate with the Communications Team to incorporate DWC Communications into Agency Communications Strategy
  • Plan and assist with admin tasks such as organising training, meetings, focus groups and keeping SharePoint sights up to date
  • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders, take minutes and manage follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with external providers to organise initiatives and implement tools
  • Project coordination and reporting in support of the Operational Plan and strategic objectives specifically on DWC commitments

Requirements

Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • at least 1 year of experience in duties related to Diversity, Wellbeing, Culture (DWC), or HR/Communications experience with a demonstrated interest in DWC activities
  • Excellent level of verbal and written English
  • Experience of managing, delivering and supporting projects
  • Strong writing skills and a willingness to lead in the area of DWC Communications
  • A fast learner and able to pick up new concepts and strategies with ease
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders of all levels, including leadership
  • Organised, able to be proactive and take ownership
  • Self-motivated with a positive growth mind-set

Desirable

  • Experience managing and delivering change projects and HR projects
  • Experience organising, managing and delivering communications
  • A broad knowledge of Human Resources or even better, broad experience of the different themes
  • Previous experience using SharePoint.
