Key responsibilities:
Your focus will be on creating two compelling articles centered around sustainability and home improvement a week. Throughout the week, you'll engage in a process of refinement and innovation, involving editing, sub-editing, and brainstorming innovative design strategies while working closely with an SEO expert.
Other responsibilities are:
- Creating compelling and targeted web copy
- Taking ownership of briefs as per established weekly timelines and seeing them through to completion
- Maximising peer support in the writing process and giving feedback to fellow wordsmiths.
- Following up on performance metrics and optimising web content for SEO.
- Fostering a close collaboration with the SEO team to build on content outlines and refining final drafts.
- Creating strategic briefs for the Design team to uplevel content and Google rankings by optimising for image SEO.
- Developing basic HTML skills and publishing content via the company’s content management systems.

Your qualifications
- You enjoy synthesising ideas from various sources in a factually-correct manner while repurposing them commercially in favour of the brand without compromising quality and subject expertise.
- Delivers optimal results and efficiently accomplishes tasks by taking advantage of proper tools, resources, and support from colleagues.
- You're able to present concepts and copy to stakeholders and support work with a clear rationale and recommendations.
- Establishing clear communication channels and navigate relationships is not a problem for you
- You are proactive and you can adapt different working styles as the needs of the business evolve
