What is the project about?
The client owns about 1,600 buildings. About 80 are being sold and these need to be delivered empty. For Data Centre Haarlem the client is looking for a project manager with knowledge of equipment and installations, to ensure the continuity and security of customer services at Datacenter Haarlem.
DC Haarlem is a large building housing data with a network. The aim is to hand over the building to Penta at the end of 2026, which is a new customer of the client. The client will become tenant of the property and various work will take place by the new owner. The goal is that the Project manager ensures continuity of the clients services, that the observance of security and compliance measures are guaranteed and that business operations remain good.
Together with colleagues from the site team Datacenter Haarlem and other teams of the client, you will ensure that continuity and security of services is guaranteed and that projects are completed on time, within agreed time, money and quality.
For this position it is important to have frequent physical presence in Haarlem. The FPS team works largely from home via teams or from one of the clients locations as we plan or are requested. As an FPS team they have the Amersfoort location as Homebase.
Tasks: project supervision, make risk analysis, screen compliance, steering committee reports, inform site manager/technicians, draw up project plan
Responsibilities
Your main task is to ensure that the activities and projects that Penta wishes to carry out in the Haarlem DC are further coordinated, questions are answered and approval is obtained internally from the client. You are the SPOC on behalf of the client towards Penta and you work out a project plan/structure within which this can take place. You ensure that the quality and continuity of the clients services are guaranteed, as well as compliance with security and compliance measures. You report to the steering committee and stakeholders. The work tbv DC Haarlem will fluctuate in scope, for this reason you will be able to direct additional projects within the FPS work area.

Job requirements
- Knowledge of professional disciplines construction engineering, installation engineering Eamp;W (HBO level);
- Knowledge of telecom and data centers;
- Knowledge of legislation, standards and regulations, such as Building Code, Environmental legislation;
- Legal knowledge of purchase/lease agreements;
- Management experience in advising and consulting with clients, internal and external experts, etc.;
- Project management and experience with projects in critical infrastructure.
Soft skills
- You have superiority in ensuring continuity and security of the services;
- You are able to think and manage on an operational and tactical level;
- You are a proactive, driven and enthusiastic team player and capable of connecting colleagues;
- You have good communication skills and are able to communicate easily at various levels, including English;
- You are stress resistant;
