What is the project about?
As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Java, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the customer-bank interaction experience. The daily operations focus on innovation, aiming to transform the way approximately over 2 million customers in the Netherlands engage with the clients mobile banking services. Many of these customers depend on the Banking App as a daily essential, serving as a gateway to establish a personalized environment that caters to their needs across a variety of devices. In addition to delivering exceptional customer functionality, your team is responsible for the end-to-end process, encompassing the build, testing, and execution phases, all executed using the latest technology stack.
Your primary focus will be on enhancing the Authentication amp; Authorization functionality for the millions of customers utilizing the clients online banking platform. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to the development of their platform using a cutting-edge tech stack that includes Kotlin, Cloud Foundry, event-driven architecture, and Azure. Join the team in their mission to revolutionize the banking experience through innovative technology and customer-centric solutions.
Job requirements
- You are a certified Java Developer;
- 6+ years of experience building applications with common web technologies (Java, JEE, Spring, Kotlin);
- Experience with automation; build pipelines, testing, deployments, monitoring
- Experience with event-driven systems and Kafka;
- Experience with micro-services ;
- Experience with SQL databases (such as Azure SQL);
- Excellent knowledge of architectural principles and how these support developers to build upon the platform
- Knowledge of common design patterns
- Able to support several teams by educating them and helping them make choices;
- Proven experience in 5 or more complex projects (preferably Cloud based).
Some other technologies you might work with / Nice to have:
- Experience with NoSQL databases;
- Experience with test automation;
- Experience with Kubernetes or Cloud foundry.
