During your internship

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in business administration within a dynamic and international organization! Dive into the vibrant world of multilingual communication and gain hands-on experience in business administration and controlling. As an intern with us, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team, working closely with your finance colleagues and reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Your creativity and problem-solving skills will flourish as you navigate the intricacies of finance in a supportive, multicultural environment.

You will practice how to:

  • Assist in the verification and processing of incoming invoices and employee expense reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation of payment batches and assist in processing bank transactions.
  • Support the finance department in the preparation of monthly closing procedures.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects within the finance department.

Key tasks:

  • Invoices, financial regulations, you know it all!
  • You oversee and participate in processing the daily flow of incoming invoices from all Acolad entities.
  • You check the progress in the procuration of invoices and ensures the further automation of the invoice flow.
  • As part of the finance team you make sure that invoices are correct, down to the last detail and that everything is processed in our systems.
  • Ensuring that our (internal) creditors are paid on time.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English.
  • Familiarity with financial administration processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong team player with a client-driven approach.
  • Proactive and hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
