Job Description
We are looking for driven and enthusiastic interns to join our team. The 9-month internship offers a unique chance to work in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization that paves the way for a more sustainable real asset sector, with many opportunities for personal development and career advancement.
GRESB internship program consists of 3 missions of approximately 3 months executed in different departments depending on the overall business needs and the profile of the interns, which can be in the Product, IT, Business Support, Marketing, or Commercial team. This program will give the intern an excellent immersion opportunity and experience in various business lines.Your main responsibilities will be to support the wider business and your department with anything from data analysis to customer support and research.
The first 3 months' assignment will be within the Member Success team to acquire the necessary business knowledge and skills. The main intern's responsibilities within the Member Success department encompass:
- Support the Member Success team with customer support via telephone and email;
- Collect and analyze company ESG data that form part of GRESB’s datasets;
- Help GRESB members with any queries on the GRESB Standards;
- Assist GRESB members with all aspects of the GRESB reporting process;
- Collaborate with other teams to provide data analysis and research on an ad hoc basis.
GRESB’s internship program offers interns the chance to gain exposure to a range of aspects of GRESB’s work and to obtain experience at a growing organization that is at the forefront of ESG in private equity. GRESB interns have gone on to successful careers inside the company and at other organizations.
The role offers the successful candidates an opportunity to gain exposure to sustainability reporting in the real asset industry as well as the current and forthcoming ESG regulations.
The candidates will ideally be able to start from February 1st, 2024, in Amsterdam. The internship may be converted into a permanent employment opportunity for candidates who demonstrate strong performance.
We do not provide visa sponsorship for internships.
Requirements
- An academic background in a relevant field, such as real estate, infrastructure, business, economics, finance, geography, environmental science or sustainability;
- Interested in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues and sustainability;
- Enthusiastic, energetic and motivated to innovate and learn;
- Team player who is eager to learn from colleagues and who thrives in an international environment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills: Fluency in English is necessary; knowledge of other languages is desirable but not required;
- Strong data analytics skills and experience using tools such as Excel and Tableau;
- A client-focused mindset with a desire to provide the best possible outcomes for GRESB Members;
- Right to work in the Netherlands.
