Your opportunity

• You will experience the culture of a technology start-up with a social mission and work in an international environment with SkillLabers from +25 countries.
• You will gain hands-on experience in all the aspects of cyber security and data privacy.
• You will work directly withFelix- one of our co-founders - and learn how to improve our ISO-27001 certified information security management system.

Your impact

• You will help us update our ISO-27001:2013 to the new ISO-27001:2022 standard
• You will support our ISO-27001 and Cybersecurity Essentials re-certification
• You will take care of cyber security in onboarding processes and IT equipment
• You will assist un in checking ethical hacker submissions
• You will make and implement suggestions on how to improve our cyber security amp; data privacy through behaviour change, technical controls and policy measure

Requirements

Is this you?

• You have a software engineering background and a demonstrated interest in cyber security.
• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands. We don’t support visa applications for applicants from outside the EU.
• You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months.
• You are able to commit to a six month internship.
• You are excited about our social mission to empower everyone to have a pathway to employment.

Extra awesome

We’d be especially happy if you have a study or previous work background in information security, cybersecurity or data privacy. We are also open to newcomers in the field.

Our selection procedure

1. You apply for the role and we review your profile.
2. We will invite you for a short screening call.
3. We will invite you for a 60min interview if we find that you are a good fit. The interview will involve you preparing a short assignment.
4. We will offer you the internship and discuss logistics, if we think that you are the ideal candidate for the role.
