Our People amp; Culture department is currently looking for a HR Specialist, whose role will be to execute, improve and build people operation processes in The Netherlands, in close cooperation with the other regions to ensure process harmonization, while ensuring seamless HR operational support to all team members.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a representative of our People Ops in NL providing hands-on support and collaborating with the EU Pamp;C team and team leads;
- Make sure all the payroll payments are made on time and correctly by conducting, checking, and approving them in collaboration with the payroll specialist;
- Develop and own People Operations improvement processes from a wide range of all human resources related activities and improve our people operations strategy and processes in NL together with the EU People Ops Lead;
- Be a liaison to local management regarding all relevant People Operations topics
- Propose process improvements, expand our capabilities, and automate tasks to ensure operational excellence;
- Own the Employee Records topic in all aspects including contracts, salaries, and compliance;
- Keep up-to-date on relevant labour law topics and communicate it to the respective stakeholders;
Requirements
Must have:
- You are an experienced (4+ years) HR professional;
- A proven track record in acting upon and improving a People Operations agenda, practically and ideally strategically;
- A deep knowledge of HR Operations, and HR Systems;
- Practical, up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Netherlands, ideally with experience in addressing legal HR matters;
- An ability to deliver quickly in a fast-moving, growth-focused business managing change and minimizing complexity;
- Proven track record of successfully implementing HR process improvements and automation initiatives;
- A collaborative style that builds effective working relationships with strong, clear, and credible communication skills and ideally multi-lingual;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Experience in data reporting/analysis in Google Sheets.
Nice to Have:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align local People Operations processes with regional/global strategy;
- Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders in a high-growth, Technology business in the Netherlands would be a bonus;
- Previous experience working in a start-up/scale-up environment is a plus;
- Possessing a degree in a field related to business administration, or human resources.
