What the role is about

As our Credit Controller you are responsible for the payment of invoices from our B2B customers in accordance with the agreed payment terms. With your strong communication skills, you make sure that payment differences/disputes are resolved in an adequate and timely manner. You will be joining our Finance department and report to our CFO. Besides, you work closely together you’re your colleagues from the departments Sales and Sales support. This is an opportunity to ensure the cash flow of our organization! Responsibilities

  • Manage the debtor’s A/R ageing and make sure invoices from customers are paid in accordance with the agreed payment terms;
  • Collect, analyze, monitor and follow up our customers regarding overdue invoices and resolve payment differences/disputes via dunning systems and SEPA direct debits;
  • Minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO);
  • Manage customer set-up and control, including credit checks and SEPA mandates;
  • Ensure customers data are accurate and up-to-date;
  • Maintain regular contact with our customers, internal and external partners like debt collection agencies by phone and mail;
  • Establish good lines of communication and share best practices with our departments Sales Support amp; Sales;
  • Continuous review of our credit control process and suggest proposals of improvement;
  • Calculation of agent commissions;
  • Weekly reporting to credit provider;
  • Manage B2C payments with payment service providers.

Requirements

  • You have good written and oral communication skills in English (Dutch and/or French is a pre);
  • You are a strong team player who is accurate, organized and hands-on;
  • You are available for 3-5 days per week;
  • Experience with Netsuite, Credit Tools or other Credit Management Software is preferred;
  • You have financial experience and are experienced in Excel.
