Mendix are recruiting for a Data Quality Management Intern to join the Analytics team at our site in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The role will provide an excellent opportunity for an intern wanting to learn more about Data Quality Management amp; Data Engineering.As an intern, you will work mainly on two assignments:Responsibilties
1. The development of a data monitoring dashboard to help businesses stay in control of data quality issues. Including:
- Customer master data mapping and data quality monitoring
- Comparison of customer account and contact data across Mendix systems
- Reconciliation of customer master dataType of data issues include: Data accuracy (comparing against a set of rules)Data consistency (comparing against a corresponding dataset), Missing/Incomplete data or records, Data integrity issues (checking that data meets certain business rules)
2. Implementation of AWS Entity Resolution in Mendix to proactively monitor data quality in transit from source systems to datalake.
Other duties include:
- Maintaining overview of ongoing data issues, tracking and documenting progress, Support the Data Quality Manager on tactical and operational duties
Requirements
- Currently studying as a university student ideally in computer science or a related field of IT.
- Experience of the Data processing language or scripting language (SQL)
- Experience of the Data processing languages or scripting languages - Python or R (benefical)
- BI tooling experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense (beneficial)
- Strong EnglishLanguage skills
