Job content
- Contributing to the implementation design, software architecture, and collaborative development of SyltonConnect, including discussions on application architectures with (senior) staff developers.
- Coaching and inspiring the Engineering team and serving as the technical point of contact for this team
- Advising the Engineering Manager on technological and system performance and providing guidance to the Product Owner regarding necessary refactoring to enhance software quality and maintainability
- Leading improvement processes to enhance user and engineering experience
- Coördinating team performance and individual collaboration
Position within the organisation
As Lead Engineer, you are part of the InnoFaith Engineering team and closely collaborate with these engineers, including the fellow engineer and principal engineer. The development team consists of developers with different expertise’s. The Lead Engineer is the professional coach on the job that communicates and makes his or hers analytical skills available to the staff developers.
You report to the Engineering Manager and contribute to realizing innovative and high-quality products.
Requirements
For this position, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Engineer who excels in problem-solving and quality focus. Additionally, you should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Considered as an advantage:
- Experience with WebAssembler
- Knowledge of development methods such as Agile and Scrum
- Experience in collaborating and managing external developers or collaborating with other software development companies (make or buy)
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with iOS app development
- A combination of C++ amp; AWS and iOS is rare and therefore we would be happy with any level of any combination of experience
- Some experience with software optimization and algorithms
- Understanding of Information Security and Security Roles Policies
