The Mendix Academy team is recruiting for a Team Manager to join them.The Mendix Academy team hosts programs focused primarily on growing the capability of the Mendix Community amp; Ecosystem, e.g., via, for example, the Train-the-Trainer (T3) and the Training Partner Program. The team consists of our Academy Operations team, a Program Manager who runs our programs from a global perspective, and Technical Enablement Partners who support these programs. As a Manager of Mendix Academy, you will be a member of the Community amp; Ecosystem Programs Leadership team and manage the global Mendix Academy team and outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Manage the people and the outcomes of the Academy team. Align the Academy initiatives and team with Mendix’ overall business objectives.
- Accountable for the team’s progress and guide your team members in their learning journey and growth. Responsible for team building and hiring.
- Together with the team, develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and align with Mendix leaders outside your team.
- Together with the team identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of Academy operations.
Requirements:
- Strong Team leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and guide a diverse and globally distributed team.
- Experience of working within the IT industry would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute operational plans, and ensure service excellence
- Strong English Language skillsets (Additional languages beneficial)
