Key responsibilities:

Leads.io is on the search for a Financial Controller to complement our dynamic work environment. The Financial Controller will lead the consolidation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Dutch GAAP and local GAAPs, and oversee the Group audit process. Responsibilities also include reviewing financial reports, setting up a control framework, managing cash flow, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and value creation. Additionally, they will serve as a contact person for ERP maintenance and improvement initiatives.

Other responsibilities are:

  • Lead the process of consolidating financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (Dutch GAAP and local GAAPs)
  • Coordinate the Group audit including follow-ups on improvement areas identified during the audit
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including consolidated financial statements, and variance analysis.
  • Responsible for adherence to accounting policies.
  • Assistance in the preparation of local statutory accounts and tax filings
  • Set up the controls framework and manage the process of controls testing
  • Prepare weekly net debt overview for the Group; prepare the consolidated 13-week direct Cash flow forecast; responsible for daily bank activities and weekly payments;
  • Continuously assess financial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and drive value creation.
  • Be a contact person for ERP to ensure proper maintenance and further improvement.

Requirements

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Dutch/other accounting qualification is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting and consolidation roles
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a problem-solving attitude and can-do mentality
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate and precise
  • Capable and willing to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Self-starter who sees things through to the end
