The positon

As Head of Marketing you lead and direct the marketing department, and have extensive knowledge of performance marketing. You develop marketing plans, allocate resources, and set short and long-term goals that translate into strategic growth for the business. The primary goal is to drive quality traffic to the website, increase profitability and achieve marketing objectives, with a specific focus on the Payment and Gaming categories. In addition to coaching the marketing team, you are an inspiring leader who is actively involved in tackling challenges.

Job content

• Develop marketing plans aligned with the company's overall strategy;
• You are responsible for the implementation of the marketing strategy;
• Allocate resources effectively to execute marketing initiatives;
• Set clear short-term and long-term goals to drive strategic growth;
• Analyze consumer behavior to identify trends and opportunities in the market;
• Design branding strategies to enhance the company's presence and reputation;
• Collaborate closely with category management to align marketing efforts;
• Participate actively in company planning and decision-making processes;
• Drive high-quality traffic to the website to increase active customer numbers.
  

Position within the organization

As Head of Marketing you work from the office in Eindhoven and you are responsible for a team of marketing specialists. You are part of the extended management team and report to the CEO.

Requirements

The company is known for its informal but effective approach in the workplace. They are looking for a creative and innovative Head of Marketing who meets the following requirements:

• University (WO) degree;
• You have at least 7 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
• You have experience managing a team;
• You have strong leadership and management skills;
• Proven track record in performance marketing;
• Affinity with CRM and branding;
  
  Plusses:
• Coming from the branded payments card industry;
• Coming from the gaming industry;
• Coming from an online retailer and/or pure player;
• Experience in working with performance marketing agencies.

Next to that, you have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead the organization through growth and expansion.
