As a business analyst you bridge the gap between your Scrum team and our customers at the insurance companies. You understand the customers wishes and anticipate on developments in the market.

You are able to effectively communicate with different types of audiences. Whether it is a design session with the customer, or a technical refinement with your team. You translate requirements into solutions, fit for purpose, with quality and maintainability in mind.

Within your team you help define user stories to implement the changes that you designed. During implementation you are the sparring partner for developers and testers. In sprint reviews you present the changes to the customer and retrieve feedback along the way.

Your team is a modern scrum team within the Product Development department and develops one or more modules in our platform Axon for the insurance industry. It is the responsibility of your team to deliver a high-value, high-quality product that really fits the needs of our customers. By creating and maintaining state-of-the-art software that models our clients’ business, your team provides the best solution that supports all primary processes. As a self-organizing scrum team, your team organizes their work in such a way that customer satisfaction is achieved through developing high-quality software in an optimal way.

We are looking for two Business Analyst for two teams.

The Configuration team is responsible for the configuration functionality of Axon. This is a very dynamic part of our software and critical for our customers to configure Axon to their own needs! The Configuration team makes it possible for our customers to create their insurance products according to their needs. The Configuration team is working on the Axon Configuration Companion to shorten the time to market for our customers and make it more user friendly.

• You have strong analytical and communicative skills;
• You are fluent in English. Speaking Dutch is a plus;
• You like a challenge and are eager to come up with elegant solutions;
• You are comfortable facing the customer;
• You like to help our customers improve their processes;
• You have a bachelor’s degree or higher.

We consider it a plus if you are:

• Fluent in German
• Familiar with the insurance industry;
• Familiar with data modelling, able to translate information into data structures.

• A monthly gross salary between 2,800 and 4,600 based on 40 hours per week;
• 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;
• A profit share;

• 24 holiday days (with the option to buy extra) and 7 inclusion days, which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays, allowing you to take them when you like;

• A 1-year contract that will be converted, when functioning well, into a permanent contract;
