We are looking for a Junior IT Buyer to join our Hilversum office in The Netherlands. In this role you will be globally responsible for ordering hardware for all our Monks, offices, and workstations and deal with license requests.
Role amp; Responsibilities
- Your foremost responsibility is to buy all the things necessary to keep our Monks and machines running so that your 2600+ colleagues across 34 international offices can effectively work together on award-winning projects
- You manage incoming license requests, an overview of all existing licenses and track usage
- You coordinate and prioritize internal hardware requests until implementation, ensuring we have all the cables, power adapters and accessories one could wish for at hand by maintaining our repository
- You’re also responsible for asset management, making sure all of our stuff is properly registered (instead of registered as stuff)
- You develop and improve processes concerning all aspects of demand management
- You maintain demand management process documentation and keep it up to date
- You could also be asked to support implementing other activities in the purchasing process or supplier management
- You’ll report to our IT department

Requirements
- You have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role on behalf of the company
- You’re fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
- You are interested to grow as a negotiator and always get the best deal
- You can effectively communicate and work together with different teams and stakeholders beyond IT amp; Support, including the business, Procurement, Finance, Legal and Facilities
- You work independently and always think along so that Monks have everything they need, even if they didn’t ask for it
- Having worked in an international global environment is a plus
- You have a commercial mindset and know enough about hardware to not get fooled
- Ideally, you have hands-on experience with asset management
