MediaMonks HQ, located in wonderful Hilversum, is currently hiring a hybrid Video Editor amp; Animator for one of our global content production studios. We need someone who can take something rough and make it uber polished at a pace and at a scale that exceeds our Client’s highest expectations. Our newest Editor/Animator Monk will also be able to fluently speak Russian and English.
Requirements
- You’re fluent in English and Russian and able to translate client briefs and sample copy into flawless pieces of work.
- You’re well experienced working in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- You can deliver tight work and you work especially well under tight deadlines.
- You can cut down videos to different lengths and formats while retaining its original spirit.
- When it comes to animation, you know how to the basics right, or break ’em if needed, for artistic effect.
- You can work independently and excel as part of a team, skillfully sharing your progress, problems and pitfalls with the team alongside your favorite GIFs.
Role amp; Responsibilities
- This full-time, on-site gig is based at our impressive HQ offices in Hilversum where you’ll collaborate daily with your teammates and new friends: we carefully selected each Monk for this team specifically to ensure we have as much fun as possible together at work.just kidding all joking aside, once COVID related work from home ends, we cannot continue to offer Remote, WFH, or off-site opportunities but fret not: we do everything we can to make sure we have the right Monks in the right roles, which usually makes coming to work a joy.
- As part of a dedicated client team, you’ll edit and animate pre-roll videos in one of the featured languages for a top-name (and top-secret) brand.
- Important people have calculated that the Craft part of this job is made of two-thirds basic editing and one-third basic animation.
- You’ll cut down original content to create the most compelling bumpers you could possibly come across on YouTube, bringing the essence across in 6 to 12 seconds.
- The animation part of the job constitutes a mix of original motion graphics work and creating equally awesome animations based on existing assets.
- As part of MediaMonks, you’ll be part of the most awesome production company on the planet, operating as ‘one office in many locations’ with an incredible in-house team of 1K+ Monks and counting.
- This means you’ll be able to team up with some of the most talented people in the industry to enhance projects and hone your editing and animation skills.
