The Post Merger Integration team leads the strategy and manages the implementation of acquired companies by S4 Capital in addition to supporting other Integration special projects. As a member of the Post Merger Integration team, you will work with a fast-paced team, partner with business leaders and departments to guide companies through a time of transition.
An ideal candidate wants to deep dive into how a company operates, learn their processes and best practices, and understand how they might be incorporated into S4 Capital. This individual will act as the central point of contact for content-related mergers while working cross-functionality to build and execute an integration plan with each department head and their counterpoints at the acquired company. We are looking for someone with a depth of experience in project management, strong analytical thinking, ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt with agility.
Location: EMEA, preferably Amsterdam/Hilversum
We are looking for:
- Strong analytical and operational capabilities
- Project management support for a new merger integration or special project
- Create a comprehensive project plan using project management tools (i.e. Asana) which includes all workstream and functional team tasks to achieve each milestone and manage the day-to-day integration efforts
- Align on priorities, disseminate key information and support department leads including Corp Dev and other business operation departments (Legal, People Ops, Recruiting, Finance, etc.)
- Conduct in-depth analyses of new merger’s business processes and execute on integrating S4 Capital’s business processes while identifying areas for improvement or new opportunities
- Communicate effectively and proactively on project activities, risks and issues and overall status to management and key executive stakeholders
- Able to navigate cross-culture differences to ensure communication is clear given language and culture barriers
- Conduct 6-month to yearly reviews on mergers and acquired companies
- Provide ideas and recommendations to help build out best practices for optimizing future integrations, business operations and project management
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and flexible with changing priorities
- Able to dive into the details but also able to engage meaningfully on overall strategy
- Willingness to travel as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of work experience
- Understanding (or interest) in the digital advertising or creative production industry
- You can work in English at the highest professional level
- Flexible, versatile and driven to obtain new skills and scale knowledge to take on uncharted territory
- A do whatever it takes working attitude; Ability to work effectively to complete projects from strategy to execution
- Exemplary time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate and bring together different views, personalities, goals, needs and helping different internal/external stakeholders find business alignment and growth
- Experience using Project Management tools to regularly report out on progress, risks and milestones
- Comfortability using other software and tools (i.e. Netsuite, Salesforce, Workday, etc.) for reporting
