MAIN PURPOSE:
As Norgine Healthcare Global Commercial Manager, you will play a significant leading role in shaping and developing Norgine’s consumer healthcare portfolio.
Based in Norgine Healthcare global head office in Amsterdam and in relationship with Norgine cross-functional teams and affiliates, you will be leading the development and implementation of meaningful commercial strategies and tactics to ensure the development of Norgine Healthcare products across Europe and Australia/New-Zealand.
Reporting to Norgine Healthcare General Manager, the Commercial Manager role is an excellent opportunity for a talented and ambitious commercial professionalwith consumer healthcare experience to be part of the development of a new entity within a well-recognised company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The primary responsibilities of Norgine Healthcare Commercial Manager will be:
- Planning: Develop strategic, brand and financial plans for Norgine Healthcare product portfolio in collaboration with Norgine internal stakeholders and management
- Commercial strategy and tactics: Lead the implementation of relevant tactics according to plans in relationship with Norgine’s functions (e.g. medical, regulatory), local affiliates and partners
- Operations: Actively support the local commercial teams and / or Norgine Healthcare partners to implement local tactics
- Contribution: Actively drive Norgine Healthcare’s products performance and growth supporting the implementation of local tactics and activities
- Life Cycle Management: Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate the evaluation and implementation of life cycle management opportunities and tactics
- Due Diligence: Evaluate internal and external opportunities from a commercial perspective to support Norgine Healthcare decision making process
- Team development and management: Structure, develop and manage Norgine Healthcare commercial team as required in relationship with the General Manager
- Legal and Ethical: Ensure that all activities, in particular relating to employment, promotion and selling, conform to local legal requirements, promotional codes and also to Norgine ethical standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Life science, Business, Marketing or similar;
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting in Europe;
- Experience in consumer healthcare in Europe;
- Ability to analyse and forecast market trends and act upon it, interpretation of data skills;
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills in English and ideally another European language (both oral and written);
- Excellent internal and external networker with the ability to collaborate and agree outcomes;
- Persuasive and creative;
- Entrepreneur, pro-active and dynamic;
- Ability to influence and challenge;
- Ability to work independently.
