Job Description

Your Job:As our Brand Manager, Benelux, you will play a key role in developing the sales, marketing and business strategy to grow the Brooks brand in the Benelux region. This role acts as a liaison between Sales and Marketing to ensure integration and alignment between the teams and represents both functions at retailers. You will partner with the Territory Director and Territory Marketing Manager to develop go-to-market plans and build, implement and deliver targeted account plans. You will lead and manage the local Sales, and Tech Rep team to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing plans across all channels.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Ensure implementation of short-term and long-term strategic initiatives including the multi-channel sales and marketing strategy for the Benelux Region to meet revenue and market share targets.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting of top-line revenue, execution and tracking of marketing spend vs budget and SKU management for footwear and apparel in the Benelux region to ensure attainment of growth and profitability goals.
  • Partner with the Territory Director and Territory Marketing Manager on developing seasonal and annual account plans including commercial terms, marketing budgets for accounts, marketing activation plans, Tech Rep support plans, revenue forecasts and product range
  • Partner with the Territory Marketing Manager and territory marketing team on designing and implementing marketing channel plans.
  • Own the Benelux retail plan and promote collaboration and ensure integration between Sales, Marketing amp; Tech Reps including data analysis and reporting of campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership to the Tech Rep within region through consistent coaching, goal development, and commitment to supporting their career development paths
  • Manage and develop the Sales Reps for assigned accounts including ensuring they are managing current orders, obtaining future seasonal orders, maintaining relationships with all relevant stakeholders at each account and assisting in ongoing forecasting and revenue planning.
  • Provide regular insights and proposals to the Territory Director on opportunities to enhance team performance, structure and ways of working to ensure business growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Product teams on sales planning, forecasting, product strategy/positioning, distribution and go-to market strategies.
  • Review industry trends and competitor practices to ensure Brooks’ Run Happy brand is gaining market share and competing effectively in all channels for Benelux. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to evolve current practices.
  • Build and maintain strong partnership with retail partners and work with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure product distribution targets are met.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business, Sales or Marketing.
  • 5+ years sales or marketing leadership experience in a global consumer products business preferably in the footwear, apparel or sporting goods industries. International sales experience preferred.
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, other European language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to assist in the development of and implement business strategies, develop new markets and customers with a global company.
  • Knowledge of international business laws and operations including sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution and operations.
  • Strong leadership skills and executive maturity including management of multiple functional teams and an ability to bring groups together to work across functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc)
  • Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to analyze industry trends and create sound business solutions to changes in market/customer demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company and through all corporate functions.
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all of the pieces fit together and affect one another.
  • A passion for the running enthusiast and practicing an active lifestyle.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
