Job Description
Junior Software Engineer
As a Junior Solutions Engineer you will be part of the engineering team. During your day-to-day activities you will be working in our customer team as software engineer to build and deploy commerce solutions. Our customer teams are multi-functional and multi-geographic so you will interact with business analyst, CX consultant, architect and other technical team members from multiple countries. We work in agile and SCRUM way so there will be regular interaction with team and customer.
Your contributions will have a direct impact on digital transformation of our customers and further growth their business.
What You’ll Do
You will make a difference by developing software components in ecommerce landscape of our customers, think of-
- Building microservices and function as a service
- Customizing and extending Enterprise commerce solution e.g. Intershop, Hybris, Magento and Commercetools
- Applying algorithms to realize ecommerce requirements of customer while remaining in a small and agile team.
- Configuring and utilizing services of AWS, Azure and GCP.
You collaborate amongst teams and timezones to make things happen.
Who You Are
- You have strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Understand and can apply Object oriented programming language (preferably Java) principles in simple, logical and structured code.
- You have basic understanding of one of the public cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP.
- You have affinity with internet technologies and good knowledge of technical processes
- You like working in a fast-paced environment and are ready to inspire outstanding online shopper experiences for consumers and brands, no matter what product, service, sector, device or channel.
- You are self-driven, flexible and have the ability to maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision.
- You like to work in agile and scrum way.
- a team player proud of their work who wants to share it.
