Our business is growing and developing and therefore we are looking for a HR Operations Specialist (Medior)to join our HR team to facilitate this growth.

The focus of our HR team is to support our growing and developing business, elevate our HR department, to get aligned with the global Wunderman Thompson and WPP companies and to support our people focused culture. As a growing company in a volatile market, our HR Operations Specialist needs to be flexible, stay up to date with the market and HR practices, be innovative and creative in finding solutions and have an organized mind.

Who we are looking for?

  • You are a self-starter, flexible, and resilient;
  • You have a lot of energy and know how to create sanity out of chaos;
  • You are passionate about HR and like to stay up to date regarding law and legislation within the HR field;
  • You are experienced in HR processes and are able to create them where needed;
  • You have experience in handling payroll mutations and preparations;
  • You are good with people and are service oriented;
  • You are not scared of responsibilities and you are proactive in signaling improvement area’s and to make them yours;
  • You know what needs to be done in order to become a people focused, process and data driven function;
  • You NEVER use the sentence ‘this is how I have always done it’, but continue to look for ways to grow along with the needs of the business and market developments.

Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Taking care of the HR administration, including absence, sickness cases, contracts, etc ;
  • Taking care of the expat process and administration; the IND process, 30% tax ruling application and supporting expats in their queries and arrival in the Netherlands;
  • Taking care of the onboarding of our new colleagues and work closely together on this with our Talent Acquisition Specialist;
  • Prepare the monthly payroll, by collecting mutations and communicating them to Finance and our payroll provider;
  • Setting up processes and maintaining/guarding them;
  • Manage the personnel files and keeping them up to date;
  • Being the first point of contact and support for the business in all their HR related queries and needs;
  • Work with suppliers to onboard contractors timely so our projects can continue;
  • Build reports to update the management on sickness and other relevant HR information;
  • Build relationships with the business, stakeholders at Finance, IT, Planning, with colleagues within the Wunderman Thompson and WPP group and with our partners amp; suppliers;
  • Collaborate in HR projects on a global scale.

    It would be great if you fit this profile:
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and in a similar market;
  • You are analytical and have at least an HBO (college) degree in a relevant area;
  • You have experience in the use of HR systems, preferably Tentoo and/or Workday;
  • You are a ‘people person’ with great communication skills;
  • You are process minded and are able to set these up where needed;
  • You have organization skills and are detail oriented;
  • You can build reports;
  • You are an excellent speaker amp; writer in both Dutch and English.
