The Role
We are looking for a talented individual to join our growing technology team. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, likes challenges, and loves coding. In this position, you’ll help the team to deliver state-of-the-art, high performing back-end solutions.
As our new Java Developer, you will be part of one of the squads (scrum-teams). The squad consists of a selection of highly skilled individuals such as yourself, including other java developers, front-end developers, dev/ops engineers, etc.
Your squad will be working on developing high performing data streaming solutions to run in high availability, 24x7 environment, using the latest technologies, such as Java/Spring, Elasticsearch, AWS, Scala, Akka, Apache Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, Apache, Ignite, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, etc. The usage of the latest technologies combined with the freedom and expectation of introducing new technologies will make your daily work exciting and challenging.
Requirements
Qualifications, skills, experience
- Bachelor or Master’s degree, in Computer Science, IT Engineering or Information Systems.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot.
- Significant experience with Elasticsearch.
- Experience programming in Scala and good knowledge of functional programming concepts is a big plus.
- Experience with Akka Streams, Apache Spark, Cassandra, and Kafka is a big plus.
- Experience with multilayer application design amp; integrations.
- Experience with data-driven products is a big plus.
- Experience with solid API design is a big plus.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence.
