The SHE department of the business Unit EMEA has a vacancy in its Delft offices, for the following position:
SHE Manager
The Position
To ensure SHE compliance within Centrient Netherlands (site Delft and offices Rijswijk and Rotterdam) by defining and executing a year plan in order to guarantee the implementation of an effective management system that ensures compliance with all legal obligations, Centrient policies and guidelines now and in the future. To avert business risks as (fatal) accidents, (external) environmental incidents, fines and force from authorities and production bans. The SHE Manager has 2 direct reports.
The main activities and responsibilities
- Ensuring by monitoring and auditing that the management systems comply with Dutch regulations, ISO 14001 standards, Centrient Pharmaceuticals Requirements and Site Delft requirements.
- Ensuring the SHE compliance situation of the plants including maintenance, logistics and facility services.
- Being an active driver of the SHE behavior improvement programs.
- Investigates the Root cause of incidents.
- Is member of the Site Delft SHE Board as representative of Centrient Pharmaceuticals to other site users.
- Acts as a local security manager
- Is member of the management team Delft.
- Is budget responsible for the SHE department
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has the following experience:
- At least 3 years experience as a SHE Manager role within a production organization.
- Is Chemical Engineer MSc or BSc level.
- And additionally MOSHE (MSc. in safety) or HVK.
- Lead auditor training and experience (e.g. ISO 14001).
- Safety studies and tool (HAZOP, SMAT, etc.).
- Incident Investigations (TRIPOD, RCA).
- Emergency management (SHE related).
- Experience in coaching and leading people.
- Experience with the implementation of Management Systems in accordance with international standards and corporate (SHE) requirements.
- Effective communicator towards plant- and maintenance staff and management.
- Coaching and leading.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Problem solver.
