Key about this role
The SaaS DevOps Manager will be responsible for one SaaS DevOps team. This manager is therefore end-to-end responsible for the SaaS services delivery for a group of customers and is people manager for the approximately 13 committed experts within the team.

In this position, you are also responsible for optimizing the SaaS services and evangelizing the DevOps principles, together with the other SaaS DevOps managers. You need to work close together with the other SaaS DevOps managers and Delivery managers for prioritization in customers and employee needs. The SaaS DevOps manager will have customer contact on an operational and tactical level.

Key responsibilities


  • People management;
  • Be a facilitator (a servant leader) to the team, not a dictator/planner/decision-maker/micro manager;
  • Be able to be a facilitator in retrospectives;
  • Work close together with the other SaaS DevOps managers and SaaS Architect for prioritization;
  • Have a customer focused mindset;
  • End-to-end responsible for the SaaS delivery for a group of customers;
  • Manage an integrated team with customer support, IT operations and development;
  • Stakeholder management internal and external;
  • Build/have a good relationship and network with the customer on an operational and tactical level;
  • Responsible for incident management;
  • ISAE and ISO responsible.

Key about you

  • You have the drive to make a success out of this new department;
  • You have a background in, at least, customer support or operations or development and willing to learn the other disciplines;
  • You lead by example: Agile DevOps champion inspiring the company in the DevOps way of working (DevOps evangelist);
  • You have knowledge on ITIL;
  • You have experience with people management and/or interest in learning people management skills;
  • You are a strong communicator;
  • You have technical insight and willing to expand this knowledge across the different expertise in the team.
