How does this role fit in?
Your role delivers impact by seeking out and establishing long term, trusting relationships between our customers and Imagr, with a focus on creating and enhancing new and existing retail partnerships in Europe and beyond. Your focus will be broad across new business development, through to seamless product implementation in partnership with the launch teams.
In this role, your day and responsibilities may look like any of the following:
- Drive revenue growth by establishing, building and managing retail partnerships, long-term customer relationships, and developing key business relationships
- Source new partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email and creative leadgen strategies
- Understand customer needs and requirements through a discovery framework
- Research, identifying key players to generate interest and maintain and expand your book of business
- Take the lead on assigned collaborations, serving as the liaison between potential and current retailer partnerships and Imagr, providing project coordination and/or business development support as required
- Run product demos, set up pilot launches, working collaboratively with departments within Imagr to support the launch and execution of new programmes and initiatives to engage with potential and existing retail partners globally
- Drive regular communication between Imagr and retail partners, keeping them up to date with progress, launch plans, benefits of using our product, etc., acting as the first point of contact for enquiries about Imagr’s product offering
- Work with Imagr’s product operations and launch teams to provide timely and relevant feedback on the user experience
- Drive and attend relevant retail events, meet-ups and other in-person meetings, acting as an evangelist for Imagr
- Work across multiple accounts to ensure that product and operations teams are armed with relevant information to generalise the product
- Support and maintain a company culture that embodies our Imagr values
Plus stepping outside of your role when needed and contributing as part of the wider Imagr team to achieve organisational objectives. NB: international travel may be required for this role, covid-19 restrictions dependant.
Key experience, education, attributes and skills:
- Impeccably fluent in English, German and Dutch
- Minimum 2-4 years experience selling technology solutions to enterprise organisations, ideally Retail or Consumer Goods
- Relevant education in Business, Commerce or transferable discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Some technical understanding of IT and solution selling with a customer focus in a B2C or B2B environment
- Experience understanding and communicating technical information to non-experts
- Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and customers by your ability to communicate with warmth, passion and genuinity
- Excellent presentation, documentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced startup environment
