Group Director Accounting
The Position
The Group Director Accounting is responsible for the compliance with IFRS standards, implementation of new IFRS standards in the Group and importantly the management of the audit engagement and liaise with the audit partner and the Chairman of the Centrient Audit Committee.
The main activities and responsibilities
- Ensure consolidated financial statements of the Centrient Group are prepared accurately on a timely basis and in compliance with IFRS.
- Prepare statutory and fiscal reports for external stakeholders, investors and governments.
- Management of External Audit process with EY (scope, fees, process and timing) and own improvement program from management letter.
- Prepare Annual Accounts.
- Position papers on various judgemental items (e.g. impairment, CGUs, etc.).
- IFRS change implementations.
- IAS 12 management with the tax Department.
- SoD management with IAD.
- Owner Accounting Manual.
- Investor and statutory reporting compliance including FS audit, together with decentral teams, Corporate Tax, Treasury amp; Risk Management.
- Implementing Group Accounting related projects collectively with stakeholders, such as, IT, Regional Finance, Consultants etc.

- CPA graduated and 10 years of relevant work experience;
- Public practice experience and experience at Group level in (public and multinational) company;

Terms and reward

Terms and conditions of employment as well as fringe benefits are up to market standards. Salary depends on your education and experience and is based on the local Collective Labour Agreement. This position is located in The Netherlands, relocation costs to NL will not be reimbursed.
