Working collaboratively with Gorillas’ operations and procurement teams, you will take ownership of all safety and quality related topics within the Benelux region. As our first team member in the Quality Assurance amp; Food Safety team in this market, you have the chance to drastically influence the way we implement and monitor safety processes.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Implement processes to ensure safety regarding supplier approval and management
• Create and deploy food, warehouse and supplier safety and quality assurance procedures across the system
• Ensure the implementation of these processes across Gorillas’ Benelux organisation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and coordinate sharing of information and best practice across geographies
• Build effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor all quality data for trends, focus on topics covering the whole organisation, identify opportunities and develop solutions
• Evaluate key risks and establish proactive methodologies for mitigation
• Support in various strategic projects

Requirements

In order to be able to carry the above responsibilities, you should not only have a passion for quality assurance and food safety, but also be able to work in an autonomous manner. In Gorillas’ starting and fast-growing business, you - as an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist - can leave your mark and massively influence the way we work.

This is what we’re looking for in our Senior Quality Assurance amp; Food Safety Manager:

• 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance/Food Safety role within the food retail business
• Internal and external audit experience
• Knowledge of the government regulations regarding food safety in the Benelux market
• In-depth knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP and COSHH
• Fluency in English (Dutch or French are a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach
• Coming to work with energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a solution-oriented approach
