We are looking for a Venture Development Manager to support our rapidly growing Dutch operations. As the business partner to the local Operations Director, you will work on cross-functional projects in order to support our hyper growth (e.g. Demand Forecasting, Last Mile delivery, Logistics). You will have to set your own projects and take full ownership - defining the project and ambition, mobilising the right people, performing data-driven analysis, communicating insights and next steps to top management and ensuring results delivery. To succeed in your role, you will closely collaborate with the global expansion and local operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic priorities with the Operations Director and translate them into concrete projects to support the rapidly growing network of Zapp’s dark stores in the Netherlands
• Manage and drive various strategic projects independently
• Work closely with cross functional teams to deliver on execution at the highest level and maximise potential
• Explore new opportunities and add value to our business
• Work closely with (senior) stakeholders in internal teams both in the headquarters and locally
• Lead a team of Venture Development Associates
• Work both strategically and operationally in growing our business

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a hyper growth startup or top-tier consultancy firm/ investment bank
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a highly demanding environment and able to independently take responsibility from day one with the ability to work with little direction
• Proven experience of leading multiple projects with strict deadlines
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Highly analytical to drive data based decision making
• Hands-on mentality, willing to roll your sleeves up
• Passionate about operations and being on the ground
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English
