StoryTerrace is a fast growing, London headquartered consumer-tech scale-up with 40+ employees and a pool of over 600 vetted freelancers in Europe and the United States. The company’s vision is to create a world in which every life story is captured in a meaningful way.
Its core service - to turn a life story into a book using its proprietary technology platform and a global network of ghostwriters - is growing over 100% YoY. StoryTerrace is the leader in this emerging new product category.
The Opportunity
If you are a motivated and passionate individual who is customer focused, we'd like to talk with you. Due to rapid growth we have immediate full time openings for 1-2 highly motivated Dutch speaking team members who have a successful track record in sales, including making outbound phone calls, sending high level emails and experience with scheduling appointments. In this position you will work closely with UK based management as well as the VP of Sales (based in LA) to help develop your leads, hone your sales skills and achieve sales and personal success. This is currently a remote position, we are looking to re-open our office in The Netherlands once restrictions are lifted. Therefore there will be an option to come to the office if preferred.
Requirements
- Is a team player by heart - you will be working with an amazing international team. We are proud to say we have a genuine no-jerk company culture.
- Is tech savvy (we use Gsuite, Hubspot, ..).
- Has strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Has at least 1 year call center/ customer service experience or at least 1 year sales experience.
- Is results oriented, has excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Is self-motivated, disciplined and a self-starter.
- Has great communication skills and strong oral amp; written presentation skills.
- Is proactive in identifying and developing new business opportunities from telephone, email and other sales inquiry methods.
- Has high level of interpersonal skills.
- Is able to speak and write in Dutch and English fluently.
- Has a passion for people's stories!
