Now, about the opportunity: In this Account Manager position at MediaMonks AMS, you will join the team that works on Virtual Events and Experiential work. A huge and exciting market that operates on the crossroads of events amp; virtual solutions, gearing up to the hybrid future.

In this role, your work will vary but has a focus on making sure that our clients are completely satisfied, our internal team knows what to do, and we win great innovative virtual event jobs and pitches.

Requirements

In this role you will:

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for maintaining and growing the virtual event business.

You will help the (potential) client by immersing yourself in their industry and you will link the insights to your in-depth knowledge of virtual events and conferences.

You will be able to transform opportunities into briefs and you are able to oversee multiple key events simultaneously

You will manage all business aspects of the operation from initial brief to reconciliation

You understand platforms, events and content, but if the conversation with the client becomes too substantive, you know that it is time to invite the (technical) experts.

You are results-driven and you enjoy building sustainable partnerships with clients and strategic partners.

You mentor and support other team members as needed

You can manage other vendors contributing to the events as needed (technical vendors, gifts, printed materials, etc)

You work well under pressure to meet established deadlines

You are proactive with ideas and creative solutions

You are able to co-author proposals and presentations.

You'll help define the scope for each project, ensuring proposals meet the client's brief and business objectives above anything else.

Experience you already have:

You have at least 5+ years’ worth of client-facing (event) experience in (creative) production and understand what it takes to make (big) online amp; digital event projects come about.

You have a proven ability to think innovatively to bring events/programs to fruition

You have experience with high level conference, meeting and production management

You have a keen understanding of the business objectives of brands and can quickly grasp their challenges and opportunities, identifying exactly what needs to be achieved from the get-go.

You have a good dose of persuasiveness

You are conceptually strong and have a passion for digital platforms

You can plan and organize well

Budget creation, management and reconciliation experience

Excellent supplier knowledge and negotiation skills

You don’t think in projects but in partnerships, developing client relationships, and work-streams miles(tones) ahead.

You’re experienced in creating presentation decks and can help shape proposals from a basic technical perspective and/or a commercial one.

You are highly organized and proactive

You can work in English at the highest professional level.
