Responsibilities:
- Working for one of the most exciting startups there are.
- Leading our month-end close process of the entities in France and Belgium.
- Transitioning the accounting activities in house from our external tax advisors.
- Taking responsibility in accounting areas such as AR, AP, Payroll amp; GL.
- Driving automation projects within finance and accounting.
- Handling complex day-to-day requests from the business.
- Supporting the expansion team with finance aspects required to launch new locations.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- Excellent knowledge of all accounting processes, AP, AR, Payroll, GL.
- Experience in running a full month end close cycle
- Experience in managing the accounting activities of a group of companies in an group-wide ERP system
- Knowledge of IFRS or other comparable GAAP.
- Basic understanding of VAT
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a startup and e-commerce environment
- Ability to speak French and English on a native level.
- A university degree with a focus on accounting, auditing or a comparable degree as well as gt; 4 years professional experience
