As risk specialist you support to translate regulations into processes, procedures and products. In the team we have diverse risk specialists, each with their own expertise (credit, operational and compliance). We are looking for a risk specialist who likes to translate new regulations into processes and procedures. Our goal is to comply to regulations by design. Your analytical mindset and problem solving skills, helps you managing stakeholders to solutions that delivers our ambition to support the entrepreneurs growth.
In particular you will:
• Translate new regulations into the processes and procedures
• Ensure that these processes and procedures are approved by the risk departments of ABN AMRO like Credit Risk, Legal, Operational Risk and Compliance.
• Design and perform automated controls, so that our risks stays acceptable
• Formulate and translate regulatory requirements into requirements for the tech teams
Requirements
To be able to offer added value to business customers, we must carefully manage our existing products and processes and continuously improve them. For that we need professionals with much attention to detail who really want to deep dive into regulations. And at the same time new process must meet the future needs and wishes of our clients.
- Track record in credit, operational or compliance risk (preferable with a focus in program lending, standardized business lending). Experience with loan origination amp; monitoring is a plus.
- Higher educational background (master level)
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Ability to get things done through focus and ownership
- Digital affinity: embrace and harness opportunities of tech in lending processes
- Analytical mindset that doesn't get lost in details
- Profound communication skills in English
- Teamplayer: creating synergy with variety of roles (Sales, Service, Design, Tech) amp; nationalities (15+)
