Job description
We are looking for a UX and UI Designer to design software and platforms in a MarTech and e-commerce technology Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business. In this role, you should be able to combine logic, analytics, and creativity to come up with intuitive, user-friendly, and simple yet appealing product designs.
Our dashboard and product lines have different users with different needs and concerns. It is expected to grasp and consider user needs and journeys in designing our different services to enhance user experience while keeping the services integrity.
Responsibilities
- Understand product specifications and user psychology
- Plan and execute research (e.g. concept and usability testing, gather feedback)
- Create personas through user research and data
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
- Create deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, user journeys, mockups, competitive analysis reports
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
- Deliver high-end responsive design amp; user experience
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to the team and developers
- Contribute to the expansion of our design system by designing user-friendly, future-proof components and design patterns
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of UX and UI design work experience
- BSc in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer
- Strong portfolio of UX and UI projects is required
- Experience in building and using design systems
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
- Proficient in design software (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe Illustrator, Miro)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Analytical mind with a business acumen
