Job Description

We are searching for an entrepreneurial and dynamic Junior Inventory Coordinator to join the Inventory team (part of the Supply Chain Management team) in our Fulfillment Center in Nieuwegein, in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Manage food and non-food inventory daily flows in our ERP system (NAV), working closely with the inbound and inventory teams.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve inventory inconsistencies on a daily basis.
  • Process inventory adjustments in NAV after inventory counts.
  • Report on weekly waste: investigate root cause and identify and implement counteractions.
  • Play an important role in improving inventory accuracy (quantity, location and expiration date), by performing regular auditing activities and reinforcing best practices
  • Work closely with the Procurement, Culinary and Supply Chain teams to prepare, identify and execute actions to improve inventory turnover and reduce waste.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Management/Business (focus on Operations).
  • A background and/or interest in manufacturing, process management, continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Manufacturing.
  • Experience working in an environment with an ERP is a plus.
  • The ability to juggle many different tasks and prioritize based on what is most important and impactful to the business.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders (Production, Procurement, Culinary, ERP team, Finance, Supply Chain)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity and proactive attitude: someone who loves identifying opportunities, solutions and getting things done
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is plus.
  • Willingness to work on a weekend every now and then
  • Ideally you are available to start immediately
