We are looking for a Catalogue Associate to manage our country-specific assortment in The Netherlands, Amsterdam based. You will be the one responsible for the upload, pricing and overall promotion of our assortment to maximize consumer appeal. An excellent Category Associate must have attention to detail, a solid understanding of consumer needs and the retail environment. They must have a commercial mindset and good comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Exceptional communication skills are also key for this position. The goal is to increase sales and profitability of the business to drive sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Continuously review and improve the assortment, upload new SKUs
• Determine the positioning product categories to maximize visibility
• Work with internal amp; external stakeholders on new assortment additions
• Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
• Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trendsLiaise with the rest of the French and UK marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure operational excellence
• Assume responsibility for revenue, margin and a great perceived catalogue

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in category management, marketing, procurement, or a similar field, ideally in a fast-paced and high-output environment (e.g. consulting, high-growth start-up, technology company)
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Great communication, relationship building and collaboration skills
• Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in a highly ambiguous environment, able to take responsibility from day one and work independently by following processes and own directions
