Now, about the opportunity: In your role as an IT Project Manager you’ll be involved in a wide variety of IT projects. You will play an integral role in getting these implemented in a timely fashion while making sure all project goals are reached. The IT organization is always on the move and looking for ways to improve. As IT project manager you will make sure these ambitious projects are led in the right direction. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity.

In this role you will:

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare project budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

Experience you already have:

• At least 3 years experience in project management, with a focus on IT
• Strong familiarity with project management software amp; tools
• Knowledgeable about various PM methodologies and best practices (you can explain when/why to use a waterfall approach vs an agile approach)
• Experience owning projects through their full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Capability to manage many large projects simultaneously
